leewood roots who?
The name Leewood Roots? "Roots" comes from the fruit and veg grown at my home called, yep you guessed it "Leewood" .. so makes sense right?
Cooking, baking, healthy eating, grow your own... it has all just developed into one passion.
I have always been interested in food and enjoy creating new concoctions (although I definitely would not class myself a chef, by any standard).
I moved to the countryside in 2013 from London and since then I have been spending a lot more time learning about food. I grow my own everything! From fruit, veg, herbs.. to keeping ducks and chickens to collect fresh eggs! So there is no excuse for me not making the most of fresh seasonal produce.
All of my dishes are vegetarian, (although I do cook meat/fish dishes for friends and family), Many of my dishes are also vegan and gluten free. I like to create something everyone can enjoy, food is about sharing and enjoying therefore should include everyone!
